Jimmy Zimmerman
Hello! I'm Jimmy Zimmerman, a Creative Director (Art) based in the Pacific Northwest.
I started my career in Chicago, where I had the opportunity to work at some of the industry's top agencies, including Energy BBDO, DDB Chicago, Y&R, and a few great boutiques along the way. Those years gave me a strong foundation as an art director, working across both traditional and digital campaigns, and I was fortunate to earn a few awards in the process.
From there, I traded Chicago for Australia, where I spent four years working with multiple agencies and leading teams across a wide range of brands. Alongside managing creative and design departments, I served as lead creative on accounts including Curtin University, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Subaru Australia, and Black Hawk Dog Food.
After returning to the U.S., I spent time freelancing with agencies, startups, and growing businesses before joining Swift, now VML. Today, I lead creative across Mazda USA's social channels while also supporting integrated campaigns, new business, and other client work.
